Sampling Valve
The sampling valve is a self-closing valve with a weight. Brass corpus with a bronze weight. It has a brass vent and a brass cap. It is mounted at the end of a pipe leading to the deck (so called a sampling pipe). After opening the valve, a measuring probe can be lowered into the tank through its opening. This probe is used to measure the fuel level in tanks. Equipment also known as “sounding cocks” or “self-closing valve”.
