Straight Rubber Packing
Micro rubber packing, so-called hard packing. It is characterized by slight tilt. Often used as seals for manholes, flaps, doors in various structures on the ship. The standard hardness used in the shipbuilding industry is 30h-35h.
Seal packing can also be made from a more durable and stronger material, such as neoprene.
We distinguish packing made of so-called solid rubber. These are packings with special shapes and special purposes, e.g. as a seal for ship windows, i.e. portholes.
Base material: Waterproof and oil-resistant rubber
Custom material: Neoprene
Hardness: In the range of 25Sh to 60Sh
Example of use:
- seals for ship hold covers
- seals for manhole covers
- seals for ship doors
