Nonperforated Band-it Tape

Band-it 316PPA coated tapes are made out of 316 stainless steel, austenitic, chromium nickel molybdenum, highly corrosion resistant. It is coated with a layer of PPA 571 plastic, resistant to weather conditions, UV radiation and flexible at low temperatures. PPA 571 is a non-toxic, halogen-free plastic. They are used in environments with high humidity and temperature, as well as places of contact with dangerous chemicals like acids and salts. In the case of the need for even greater mechanical strength, a double loop can be used, thus creating a clamp with double strength. They are ideal for applications on vessels, in medical equipment, food processing, chemical industry, oil industry, paper industry and wherever excellent corrosion resistance is required, as well as additional protection of cable insulation, also in applications exposed to vibration.

Tapes are also available without coating in other types of steel, 201 steel, 304 and 316 steel in sizes from 6.4 mm to 19.05 mm.Tapes in packages of 25 mb.

To fasten the tape a special pin is used, ranging in size from 6,4mm to 19mm, made of 201, 304, 316 steel. The pins in packages of 100 pieces.
